Empowering youth
software engineers.
We believe a young person in Dire Dawa can build software for the world. Not someday, now. The tools finally exist, the knowledge is free, and the only thing missing is a clear path and people who believe in you. That is what we are here to be.
The best time in history to start
For decades, learning to build software meant expensive machines, English-only books, and no one to ask when you got stuck. Most talented people quit in the first month, not for lack of ability, but for lack of support.
That barrier has fallen. Modern tools explain code, catch mistakes, and answer questions the instant you ask. A patient tutor now fits in a browser tab. The young engineers who start today have an advantage no generation before them had.
Ethiopia is training coders by the million, backed by the government and real programs. We plug our community directly into that momentum, on the ground in Dire Dawa.
Aligned with initiatives like the 5 Million Ethiopian Coders program and AddisCoder, we point you to every free door already open, and build the local support around it.
Four things we refuse to compromise
Fundamentals first
Tools change every year. Understanding does not. We teach you to read and reason about code, so you are never just a passenger.
Free and open
Cost should never be the reason someone cannot start. Everything we point to is free or has a real free tier.
Local and in context
Built for our reality, including bandwidth and power that come and go. We teach offline-friendly habits, not Silicon Valley assumptions.
Nobody codes alone
The difference between quitting and shipping is often one person who answers your question. We are building that community.
Talent is everywhere.
Opportunity is not.
We are here to fix the second one.
